Fall is just the right time of year to get going with chemical peels!

How glycolic acid (alpha hydroxy acid) works:

Glycolic acid breaks down the intercellular "kit" that holds dead skin cells together. This ensures that the outer layer of the skin can dissolve and allows young, fresh and plump skin to emerge. This additionally boosts the skin's own collagen and elastin production; the skin appears firmer and tighter!

With glycolic acid, you have to take it slow - less is more!

If the skin tolerates it, you can use glycolic acid from twice a week to daily.

Glycolic acid reduced:

  • Wrinkles
  • Acne scars
  • Hyperpigmentation and
  • refines the texture of the skin

Mandelic acid (also alpha hydroxy acid) is

  • very gentle
  • exfoliates gently but effectively
  • refines the complexion
  • gives the skin new luminosity
  • reduces inflammation & redness
  • adds moisture to dry skin
  • gently counteracts hyperpigmentation and has a skin-balancing effect
  • has antibacterial properties and is excellent for the treatment of acne
  • regulates sebum production

In the institute comes, among other things, the Fruit Acid Peeling of the Professional Care series from Ionto Comed in 10% concentration, which contains both glycolic acid and mandelic acid. For home care, Ionto Comed offers a 5% acid.

Fruit acid acts as a true all-rounder and is an effective addition to any beauty routine.

Important: After a chemical peel, sunbathing is taboo and sunscreen is a must!
